This event spotlights a selection of local and national brands and emerging designers who share a dedication to sustainability in fashion. From innovative materials to ethical production methods, witness the latest in eco-conscious style on our runway.

Renaissance Fair

We're excited to announce an upcoming in-person fair showcasing various local Nashville brands, companies, and creators. We're seeking collaboration with diverse, sustainable-minded partners from Stony Color Creek, Turnip Green, Creative Reuse, Lemon Laine Beauty, local thrift stores, and small business pop-ups. Our aim is to provide a platform for these companies to promote their sustainable opportunities to students. Join us as we spotlight local creators, businesses, designers, and companies dedicated to sustainability and fashion.

thredUP THRIFT POP-UP

Too much in your closet? Sell and buy from fellow students in-person at our thrift pop-up event sponsored by thredUP. Whether you are a buyer or a seller, make sure to bring your pieces that are ready to find a new home as we will have thredUP donation bags available to ensure every pieces enters a sustainable cycle of reuse.

The Wond'ry
WOND'RY FABLAB CERTIFICATION CLASS
MARCH 26
Come learn to sew by hand and by machine at the amazing Fiber Arts center right in the Wond'ry. Within this class you will learn how to make a small toy dinosaur. During this visit you will also receive certification that allows you to come in and use their equipment and resources whenever you want!

VFW IN PHOTOS

Experience the story of VFW in our one-of-a-kind exhibit which depicts the journey of VFW, and artistic representations of fashion in photos. The Museum will be open for the entirety of fashion week with a special showing on March 25.

Our grand finale event, in collaboration with student organizations on campus, will celebrate Vanderbit's cultural diversity through sustainable and ethical pieces that reflect various ethnic backgrounds
